To contemplate the magical interactions in a bed of diverse flowers, or to focus on a single bloom, can take us away from emotions of the past and anxieties about the future. There is no need to be anywhere else. The promise of a bud or the textures and tones of a wilting petal can hold us in the present while lifting us out of the heaviness of our physicality and the drama of our lives. This image
