The Yamaha VX 1 is a rare guitar, they were made in Japan in 1985 and were never sold outside of Japan (I've barely come across many in Japan either). Released alongside the EX (explorer) and EBX (explorer bass) these pointy Yamaha's didn't stick around for too long, from my research I believe these only lasted a year in production.
