This Is Not A Shoe Framed (Smaller version) HPM he fears cynicismThis sequence of three photographs captures a fun moment in the street of Amsterdam: The transformation of a bare construction wall into a piece of art and commentary. The first shows the act of creation. The second freezes the wall as a battleground of ideas, carrying words of defiance and critique. The third twists perception with irony and humor: This Is Not A Shoe echoing Magritte, reminding us that what we see is never just what it seems.
