There is a focus on understanding traditional Sashiko, and how it differs from the workshop projects, by studying the work of mother and son Sashiko artists Keiko and Atsushi Futatsuya. The sashiko inspired projects in the workshop start as samplers for each stitch design, then you can turn the samplers into small projects if you wish. We include
