I first went there years ago, when it had just open to the public as a park and later learned that my grandad, who lived in New York for most of his life, talked the Elevated line to my dad, mentioning this train passing through the buildings, a recollection that made a huge impression on my dad as a young boy. It all feels so sweet and compelling. What I love about the High Line
