while on the palate we were all eating candied orange sticks and candied clementine confit with Moroccan spices

ginger and pink peppercorns and set’s up the summer fruit profile of apricots and greengage with a layer of soft caramel

a cocoa hue appears—finally

Built in Dufftown by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1975 to help boost production of Bells Blended Whisky which was booming in popularity in the 1970's. In the 1980's there was a whisky crisis caused by overproduction and huge drop in demand for blended whisky which became seen as an 'old mans drink'.
