Neoregelia 'Orange Zest' Size:Offset Virgin Islands and Puerto RicoA clone of ('Ornato' x carcharodon 'Tiger') by Grant Groves. Depending on cultural methods, the plant can grow compact or larger. Best when grown a little on the hard side, it makes a rosette up to 20 inches across with 2 inch wide leaves. The plant gets very orange with dark brown bands and spots in good light but is much paler, green, in lower light. The plant produces offsets before blooming. No discernable color change at anthesis.
