Puya ferruginea COLLECTOR This form is green withA species native from Ecuador to Bolivia with inch wide, fairly stiff, glaucous green, gracefully recurving spiny leaves in a 36 inch rosette. The inflorescence is a simple spike with large white and chestnut brown flowers with a flaring corolla. Upon closing the flowers twist in a tight spiral. Our plants descended from a collection made in Amazonas, Peru and have the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens accession number of SEL2007 0158.
