Bonnet & Cotton 100% Cotton, Côte de Brouilly, AOC Côte de Brouilly 2022 Variety_Aligote peony and sweet spicesVery old vines towards the top of the hill, facing directly south, on a tiny patch of blue diorite. An electric shock of fruit slick down the centre of the palate and a long resonating church bell of a finish. Classic Cte de Brouilly showing off Gamays bright, pure side. Juicy red fruits think raspberry, wild strawberry, and a little sour cherry backed by a touch of spice, florals, and that lovely mineral streak from the volcanic soils of Brouilly.
