The back is impressed "Mosaik Fabrik Sinzig

It is 7/8" thick with clear marks on the back

The pottery won awards and was often compared to the work of rivals like Rookwood

Made from a dense brown clay. Measure 4 1 4" square. The back is marked C T C No2. The condition is excellent, the face unworn, with flakes around the edges and traces of mortar on the back.
