Description

5cm tall (top of lid)

Between 1901 and 1925 Dahl-Jensen modelled numerous small sculptures of beasts of prey in bronze that were exhibited at Charlottenborg

Approx 9cms (3 1/24") base diameter

Issued | 1906 - 1930 (this one 1911)

It is marked QUART and on the other side of the handle VR 352 (which was the locale CHECK mark for Kent used from 1879 I understand - so the "then" Government equivalent to Weights and Measures has done a check that the measure was accurate) - which only means it was checked at that time - my research indicates the piece was a design used from the William IV era onwards - so most likely an 1840s piece
