Sphalerite Opal but as you can seeGem quality Sphalerite is found around the world in virtually every color of the rainbow except for blue and purple. This stone was cut in August of 2017 and shows a rich golden hue that is highlighted by flashes of yellow, blue green, gold and orange. Due to the high refractive index of Sphalerite, the material will dance with color under strong lighting. This stone probably looks best in direct sunlight, but any strong light will show off the color
