Vintage metal mesh drops are carved from an iconic Whiting & Davis purse (circa 1940s 1970s), the edges then hand linked with oxidized sterling silver chain. Joinery around the mesh elements is carefully soldered welded chain to chain, drawing smooth, uninterrupted lines throughout the work. Necklace measures 17" around.
