Piqu work was a type of decorative work made by inlaying tiny points or pins of silver, gold or other precious metals in patterns or pictures on tortoiseshell. This bangle has several Asian figures around it and one lovely inlay of an elephant. The bangle has an internal diameter of about 2. 5 inches and is over 1 inch wide. It is in good vintage antique condition.
