The Sang de Boeuf (or “ox blood”) glaze was one of the great flambé glazes of Chinese ceramics

This design was classic of the Ming & Qing dynasties and the doors show scenes of everyday life. Much of the painting is still visible and is of exceptional quality. This Chinese sideboard also has its original brass hardware. Much antique brass and iron hardware from furniture was robbed and molten down
