Large Burmese Lacquer Tiffin Box - Ca 1910 Kang Tables This antique Indian military chestThis is an excellent example of a Burmese lacquer box and larger than is usually found. These boxes were multifunctional and used both as tiffin boxes and betel boxes (kun it). This Burmese lacquer box is typical of the style and has a base orange red colour and is decorated with finely etched black motifs including a kunan kanbyat pattern.
