2020 Polaris RZR Pro XP Shift-Tek Progressive Helix Clearance 5150 LED Rock Light PodDESCRIPTION The helix sits in the secondary clutch and applies pressure to the CVT drive belt. Two helix types: straight (constant angle) and progressive (two cuts for different shift points). Helix angle alters belt pressure and shift behavior. An overly aggressive helix angle without secondary spring adjustment can cause belt slip. If rpms are too low: a shallower range helix and or a stiffer secondary spring raises rpm and increases belt squeeze.
