Iron Bound Teak Chest - 19thC - From Gujarat Material - Teak (Reclaimed) 56 x 45 x 122This fabulous Teakwood chest has a great patina, it has been sympathetically restored in our Wiltshire workshop. It has original hand forged iron corners and strong handles. Perfect for storage and for use as a coffee table. This chest is mid 19thC & comes from Gujarat Chests and boxes from India are found in an extraordinary variety of styles reflecting the many cultures that influenced India. They were usually made from Teak, rosewood or jackfruit
