Its long, low form originally designed for Buddhist ritual use features three front drawers hand painted with elegant floral and peony motifs, symbolic of peace and prosperity in Tibetan Buddhist art. The original paintwork, though beautifully worn, still retains traces of deep red, olive green, and golden ochre tones, giving the piece
