Copal / Young Amber with insect inclusions purple silver-grey crystallized “spray”A remarkably GEM quality WATER CLEAR specimen of this fantastic Colombian Copal featuring approximately 100 insect inclusions, mainly flies (Diptera), ants (Formicidae) and bark beetles (Scolytinae). The entire specimen is like a piece of golden glass, a quality that is rarely seen in such large pieces of this material. Usually once a piece is more than a few mm thick, it becomes cloudy and crazed leaving very little room to view what's inside. This
