Traditionally placed outside shops, tea houses and small restaurants, these long benches provided a welcoming place for staff, customers and passers by to rest, converse and enjoy the fresh air. Crafted from solid elm, this particularly long example has spent much of its life exposed to the elements, leaving it with a beautifully sun bleached finish
