Hosta Lakeside Little Tuft BBQ The scallop-shapedA small variety of hosta. It has lance shaped leaves with cream yellow centres and green margins. Pale purple flowers are borne on tall spikes in July. Hostas grow best in moist soils, and benefit from a yearly mulch of well rotted manure, leafmould or compost. They are also well suited to growing in containers, as long as the compost doesnt dry out.
