1950er Jahre Sideboard, Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten zeitgenossisch Made from a single bentThe design of this sideboard from the Idee Mbel program by Erich Stratmann for the Oldenburger Mbelwerksttten marks a milestone in 1950s furniture design. The distinctive combination of the new striking steel tube frame in Bauhaus design and the drawers in white and yellow emphasizes the strictly geometric, functional orientation of the era. The cool, shiny metal harmonizes in an appealing way with the warm surfaces of the drawers and the flap door.
