We consider this piece an extremely rare example, as it is in original condition The paint has not been re touched Circa 18thC. Perfect for storage of bedding or books or for use as a side table. Chests from India are found in an extraordinary variety of styles reflecting the many cultures that influenced India. They were usually made from Teak, rosewood or jackfruit wood. They were used for
