A most unusual Danburite specimen from this famous locality
too devoid of color or too freaking rare to even consider cutting into gems
A wonderful "rosette" of white Albite (var: Cleavelandite) sits in between a pair of attractive blue-green colored prismatic Amazonite crystals on the full-sized thumbnail specimen
A beautiful group of sharp
One of my favorite aspects of the piece is not the large crystals
Andalusite (bicolor) Panasqueira A most unusual Danburite specimenA fine quality, VVS "Oval" cut gemstone of Andalusite from Bahia, Brazil. The gem shows excellent pleochroism with a combination of a soft reddish orange hue and a light yellow green tone face up. There are only a few worldwide localities that produce gem quality Andalusite, and this brightly colored stone would make a great addition to a gem suite. Item #ANDABRAZ110
