Paltrinieri, Solco Lambrusco dell'Emilia, 2025 NO-WINE-SEARCHER aged 14 months in barrelLambrusco feels like a secret weapon in beating summer's heat while still enjoying a fully fleshed out red wine. Paltrinieri specializes in the pale Sorbara grape, but Solco is 100% Lambrsuco Salamino, a darker hued and intensely berry forward version of the grape. It's a fully dry version, with flavors of black cherry and fennel, and plenty of fresh acidity. A perfect wine for pizza.
