Prussia, Kingdom. A Rare Cross of Merit for Women and Girls 1870-1871 Province of China Dated 21 June 1917(Verdienstkreuz fr Frauen und Jungfrauen 1870 1871). Instituted 22 March 1871 by King Kaiser Wilhelm I. (1871 issue). Constructed of silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with a fine quality black enameled core, the obverse bearing a central raised Geneca Cross executed in red and white enamels, the reverse bearing a central engraved and silvered monogram of King Kaiser Wilhelm and Queen Kaiserin Augusta, the six oclock arm
