Prussia, Kingdom. A Military Merit Cross, Boutonniere Miniature, by J. Godet & Sohn Hold an Anti-Aircraft Officer’s insignia(Militr Verdienstkreuz, Miniatur). Instituted 27 February 1864 by King Wilhem I. (1864 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse bearing a central raised inscription of KRIEGS VERDIENST (WAR MERIT), the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Wilhelm I, the twelve oclock arm topped by an integral loop with a suspension ring connecting to a boutonniere retaininga period original ribbon, the butonniere
