the villosa ancestry may give them a bit more of a furry texture and squat appearance

one carnivorous and the other foliar

the variegation is less stable

It's a Peruvian native species that's been said to grow best under cooler conditions but we've found it does well in our warm greenhouse as well

We've grown it in our lowland and highland greenhouses with great success

Philodendron scherberichii Nepenthes Species the villosa ancestry may givePhilodendron scherberichii is a climbing species that produces extremely long, pleated leaves. It's one of the most sought after species in the genus. In our experience, the strapped leaved Philodendrons like patriciae, heterocraspedon and scherberichii are prone to shock fairly easy from root disturbance so we will ship potted to avoid transplant shock. This product is considered an Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our Aroid Shipping
