Description

The mountain they live on is inaccessible and remote that Nepenthes researcher Chi’en Lee is the only person to have observed it in the wild (although there have been a couple reported cases of the plant growing epiphytically in the surrounding area with observers seeing them with binoculars)

This particular cross requires a large pot and puts our a lot more roots than other Nepenthes

This was an extremely limited release and these will be the only plants we are selling

This is a vigorous plant that would thrive in a wide range of conditions

We had thought this was a potential virus on the mother plant but now see it's likely a genetic trait passed down since diseases and pests would not have transferred with the seed it produced

Nepenthes argentii anthurium The mountain they live onNepenthes argentii may be the smallest Nepenthes species. Native to Mt. Guiting Guiting in the Phillipines, this species grows in ultramaffic soils on the windy summit. We've found argentii appreciates a soil with very good drainage and we have used ingredients such as kanuma and laterite with success. The original plant for sale was a rooted basal off of our mother plants from Best Carnivorous Plants. Our sizing guidelines This product is considered
