Germany, Third Reich. A Medal for the 1936 Olympic Games Hold the latter retaining a brown(Deutsche Olympia Erinnerungsmedaille 1936). Instituted 31 July 1936. (1936 1937 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its correct replacement ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised Olympic column and rings, overlaid by a NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1936, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of Fr Verdienstvolle Mitarbeit bei
