ELLIS & CO." on the reverse, 45. 5 mm x 45. 7 mm, intact lugs, top tip of the maple leaf bent slightly forward, green oxidation spots evident on the obverse, better than very fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed March 28, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel J. A. Cooper with a strength of 31 officers
