The base fabric is a clipped weave jacquard with "cutouts" on a very sheer and slightly sparkly nylon mesh. The more solid areas have a black and white abstract design, and we've photographed it on a white background to show the sheerness. It has a crisp, cottony drape, and is perfect as an overlay for a jacket, evening coat, dress, skirt, tunic, kimono, etc. Some styles will need
